Picture Framing for Beginners
Take the mystery out of picture framing!  Learn to join frames, cut mats and glass, mount pictures, and finish your own framed print.  The workshop will cover design, measuring for matting, and the tools needed for framing.  Please bring two pictures, photos, or prints (5”x7” to 8”x10”).  You will have “hands-on” experience matting both items and framing one of them.  Also bring a tape measure and pencil.  You may bring your own mat cutter if you have one, or you can use the cutter in class.  This is a fascinating, fun, do-it-yourself workshop that includes a beautifully framed piece you can keep.  A sack lunch is recommended. A $45 fee for materials is payable at the workshop.  Material fee includes two mats and one 11”x14” frame.
