MAC/PC Boot Camp: Photo Magic
Learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, the industry-standard image editing software, to turn ordinary family photos and other pictures into true photographic works of art. Like magic, you will be able to retouch pictures to correct lighting and color, remove lines and blemishes from people’s faces, and reveal details totally hidden in dark areas of pictures. You will learn how to insert and remove people, animals, and objects from photos, and completely change backgrounds. You will master a wide array of specialized techniques and brushstrokes that you can use to turn your everyday photos into watercolor, charcoal drawing, and oil painting masterpieces. You will also learn to create amusing fake pictures that show one person’s face attached to another person’s body. Although actual classroom training will be done on the MAC, the training is equally applicable to the PC version of Photoshop. A $40 materials fee for a book & disk is payable at the workshop. Each participant will have a MAC to use.
